Our laboratory
For over 20 years, our team has been dedicated to DNA sex determination of birds and mammals. Over 1,000 bird species as well as a variety of exotic mammals such as anteaters, sloths and capybaras have already been examined here.
Our expertise and reliable services are valued by zoos, animal parks, bird parks, veterinarians as well as bird breeders and lovers throughout Europe.
Our goal is to improve animal health through advanced diagnostics while always staying close to the needs of our customers and their animals.
Our history
The MVZ for Pathology and Cytology Bielefeld GmbH merged with the ZOTZ l KLIMAS Institute at the beginning of 2023.
This merger resulted in the creation of Z|K Veterinärdiagnostik in the same year.
Here we combine the site's many years of experience in animal health diagnostics and proven expertise in supporting breeding programs with the advanced and holistic approaches of ZOTZ|KLIMAS.
The ZOTZ|KLIMAS Institute, led by a team of experienced physicians, brings comprehensive expertise in the fields of genetics, pathology, molecular pathology and laboratory medicine to our joint work.
Through this merger we create a dynamic combination of proven experience and innovative ideas.
